How to set up a webcam

Okay, so there's a family of seagulls living in my yard. I would like to live stream them to... somewhere. I have a nice computer, and Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, the nest is out of reach of my Wi-Fi. Also, I have no camera. So, I'm basically looking for detailed instructions on;

What camera to buy, preferably one that doesn't need Wi-Fi.

How to start streaming, (detailed, please, I'm not very tech savvy)

And what is a good streaming service? Are there any free ones?

You'll need more than anyone can give you here. Google set up video streaming and start learning. (I used to run a stream server - it's not difficult, but there are too many steps and links to list here, and you do need to know some of what's going on, so you can run it properly.)
