Why is my s8 charging slow?

[Android Central Question]

It was already 3 days in a row where my s8 is charging so slow. It is even showing that my phone will be full charged within 6 to 8 hrs or depending on the battery percentage. I am using an s8 cable and charger adapter which is still new since I bought my s8 last October 2017. I even tried to restart ky phone and also clean the port. Why is this happening?

Welcome to Android Central! Bring the phone to a Best Buy store or your carrier store and ask to try one of their fast chargers to see if the problem is with your charger or with your phone.
