Android Central Question

I currently use Metro PCS, my phone is over 2 years old and has been malfunctioning, i thought i would save some money and i bought a used samsung note 5 phone from someone. its practically brand new. I want to know how i can convert this phone in place of my Metro PCS phone?

Does MetroPCS use SIM cards? If so, you should be able to just swap the SIM card to the "new" device (if the 2 devices use the same size). Provided the seller properly reset the device, you should be good to go to set it up for you.

I hate to tell you, while it may not be malfunctioning, that Note 5 isn't much newer than the device you're replacing.

If the Note 5 is a TMobile (N920T) phone, or if it's an unlocked AT&T phone (N920A), it will work. If he removed his Google account from it.

If it's a 920A and not unlocked it won't. (MetroPCS uses TMobile towers.)
