Contacts are gone on my Galaxy S8. Where did they go?

Woke up this morning and nothing on my Galaxy S8 is familiar. It's like things have been completely reset (I live alone). My contacts are all gone. I have no way of contacting ANYONE. I've tried to sync from my Google contacts and can't seem to. The only thing that seems to have remained are my photos. Although my SD card says I have stuff on there, other than my photos, I can't access it. HELP!!!

Welcome to Android Central! Are you certain your contacts were saved to your Google account? Go to contacts.google.com on your computer browser -- are all of them there?

Can you elaborate on why things look unfamiliar? Are all of your homescreen shortcuts gone, or does the interface look completely different? Make sure Easy Mode is off: Easy Mode - Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ User Guide
