Contacts & phone numbers are syncing to my Yahoo powered email

[Android Central Question]

I just found out today that many of my contacts in my phone were in my contacts list in my AT&T email which is powered by Yahoo. They are just names and numbers, no email addresses. I never set them to sync and it was only part of the contacts. When I deleted them on my PC, they were also deleted on my phone, and I don't have them written down anywhere to add them back in.
What am I not seeing in any setting pertaining to my contacts or my email. I am using BlackBerry HUB+ services, but there is no setting in it to turn on or off syncing.

In Yahoo settings you see a toggle to turn contact syncing off?
