class 10 sd card for huawei Y3 2017 but I still get notification that memory is full

The sd card has been set as default storage but the phone memory keeps increasing and can't find which applications are filling the device memory,please help

Welcome to Android Central! The card won't expand the phone's ability to install apps, unless the phone supports Adoptable Storage (i.e., the ability to format the card to be part of Internal Storage). If it doesn't support Adoptable Storage, the card is primarily useful for storing discrete files, like media files and documents -- not for installing apps.
