What does these symbols mean?

Hi

Does anyone what these symbols I have circled mean?

Does it mean that the contact has two different numbers or that this person who's phone it is has a dual SIM card?

It is an android phone not sure which one.

Ok I can't seem to attach a picture. But it's in the text message screen, underneath each message it has time and then a little SIM card image with a 2 in it.

The reply also has the same image. And next to the text box it has two little SIM card shaped images named 1 and 2. I assume the person sending the text can select one or two but is that two different phone numbers for the the specific contact or is the a dual SIM card phone

Based on your description alone - is YOUR phone a dual-SIM phone? I would venture to guess that the symbols indicate the SIM with which the messages are associated (which phone number they were sent to).

It also sounds like this may not be your phone, we try not to discuss what's going on with someone else's phone.
