Did a master reset on a HTC Desire and now it just keeps saying processing and doesn't go away

[Android Central Question]

I went into the recovery mode and did a master reset wiped everything restarted it and when it boots up starts it just says processing and doesn't go away. Someone said to take the battery out and put the battery back in but the back doesn't come off of my HTC
