Why doesn't my android charge fast even it is charged with a 3.0A Charger?

I bought a 3.0A Android Charger because they say, the higher the amp, the faster it'll charge yet nothing like that happened to my phone. It barely charges. I used some apple adaptor instead just to try this one charger and it charged so well! It's 5v and model a1385, but it isn't mine. Please i am incredibly tired with my charging issues. What charger should i find once more? big thank you in advance.

What phone do you have? Just having a charger capable of high output isn't enough, the phone needs to support that as well.
