I bought a used Susan M5 andriod phone. How can I get past the lock pattern.

The person I bought it from just showed me that it worked,but not that it had a lock pattern.

Welcome to Android Central! Contact the seller again -- that's the only way you'll be able to get into the phone. There's no way to bypass the security feature (and if there were, we wouldn't allow discussion about it).
