Android Central Question

I have read a way to delete widgets…
"pick up the widget you want to delete, and drag it to the Remove Button".
Before I installed Nova, I had a REMOVE button and an "X" implying that it gets deleted there.
Now that I have Nova Prime v 6, there's no Remove button, and I can't find anything in Nova or by Googling Delete Widgets using Nova. I get results on Adding, moving, etc. Zero results on deleting the widgets.

If there's a way to get a "Blank" home screen and clean up, then go back to Nova, I would. But I have
a Samsung Galaxy that was updated to have a launcher a while back. And there's no option for just a Home screen.
Maybe you guys know Nova well enough tell me how to put the remove button on home screen w/ Nova 6.
Thanks for any help.

Hello Cat, welcome to the forums. With normal widgets you should get the remove option after you long press any of them. For the Google search bar you need to go to Nova settings - home screen - search bar place and select 'None'.

Javier, thx for your input. I have. the Search bar set at None, did that with initial Nova setup. I wven made my icon vrid 4x3 and this is on my 8 inch tablet, and on my cell. It's a pretty big screen.

Does anyone know how to startup with both of my launchers disabled.? Probably wouldn't boot, or it would pick Sansung on Default.

I'm trying to move some apps to SD card, and can't do move if app has widget.
