How do I increase the touch screen input latency?

[Android Central Question]

When I login to my telescreen with my 4 digit pin code, I have to tap it like I'm a jazz musician. One and a two and a three and a four. When I just want to type it as quick as I possibly can.

I have already tried to increase/decrease the pointer speed. I have not noticed any discernable effect of this. I was hoping maybe some here know better than google?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Have you considered changing to a pattern unlock? That can be done pretty quick, depending on the complexity of the pattern.
