Chinese Double Din Head Unit Oreo 8.1 Screen problem

[Android Central Question]

I was recently in the settings and must have changed a setting by mistake. Whenever I try to press a button on screen it thinks my finger is pressing another area of the screen. This is making it very difficult to select anything on screen and sometimes your not able to select the option you want.
I've tried pressing the reset button but that doesn't clear the settings so need to factory reset the unit. I got it to where it want me to enter the pin but I cant select the numbers. How can i fix this?
