Why can't i sign into my samsung account on verification set up process?

I recently brought a galaxy s6 and i am trying to set it up.. each time i try to sign in with my samsung account it says ''failed login'' So i thought it was the account inwhich i made a new one, still the same problem ''failed login''.. i don't know what to do... please someone help me

Hi, where you signing into members app ,settings accounts?

Welcome to Android Central! Did the seller properly do a factory reset before selling it to you? That usually requires removing both the Google and Samsung accounts from the phone before doing the factory reset. Otherwise, you might be stuck in Factory Reset Protection mode, where it's expecting the account of the previous owner.
