Is there a call app that displays more info on calls? (Company/Job Title)

Hi,

We use Galaxy S6s at work, and I'm wondering if there's a simple app that will display the contact's 'Company' and 'Job Title' fields on screen when they call me. I don't mind paying for the app, in fact I would prefer it rather than getting some bodgy free app that relies on full-screen popup ads and whatnot.

I am aware I can add company information to a contact's name field, however this is not an acceptable solution as the contacts are used elsewhere (CRM etc) and that stuffs all that up.

Thanks

What carrier you have ? Usually they have their own caller ID app.

I'll leave a link to register so you can communicate here , as a guest account you can't.

Thanks, I was already registered but forgot to log in!

It's not really a 'Caller ID' thing... The standard Samsung (or Android) call app just displays the contact's name like this:

What would be super handy is if the "Company" and "Job Title" fields were also displayed in addition to the name.

If the information is not part caller ID, where would the app get that information?

Where does the phone get a stored contact's name from? The contact stored in the phone....

I misunderstood the last sentence in your original post.
Ironically the Samsung Phone app in my Note 10+ allows storing the items you want in the Work subfields but it doesnt pop up during calls.

The name on the phone screen comes from the callerID information sent between the first and second rings. Name and number are sent.

Yep - I'd like that "Company" and "Job Title" information displayed on the incoming call screen. The data is there in my contacts, I just can't find a way to display it when someone calls.

This should display if they in your contact if they are not wont be change how that will come in

Gotcha, you can try clearing cache, data, force stop the contact app and phone app see if this helps

No mate, this isn't a caching issue. We have six S6 phones, and I have an S9+.. none of them display this information, and they never have. It hasn't just stopped working or anything, none of my Samsung phones have ever displayed this information.

This is a limitation of the stock call app on Samsung phones and I am seeking an alternate solution.

I'm offering a suggestion as could be a glitch or update that changed something , it's up to you if you like to try the methods I will suggest .

My note 10+ caller Id brings up my contact person number , state, carrier, work info when calling me if you let it ring it will switch between them under the number
