How to bypass carrier activation setup Motorola Moto E 5 play

I only use my phone for wifi I'm not going to activate it so my issue is that I can't get passed the activation screen setup

The carrier firmware may not allow you to bypass the process.

if you are only going to use it for wifi, take the sims card out of it.

Welcome to Android Central! Which carrier is the phone from? Does the activation screen have a "Skip" button in fine print anywhere on the screen (usually the bottom)?
