ASUS Z580C slow boot time

I recently purchased an ASUS Z580C 8 inch tablet. When I encrypted it, it added a new wait, after I enter my password, to the startup process. It now takes 35 seconds to get to the password screen and then another 47 seconds to bring up the home screen after I enter the password - almost a minute and a half not including the time to enter the password. This seems like a long time. Is it normal?
