Why do all headphones (even bluetooth) sound louder on one side?

I have a zte zmax pro and it has been doing this for about 3 days now. I have used wired headphones and most of the sound goes to one side and the other side sounds more quiet. I used Bluetooth headphones and the same happened, but then I tried them on other phones and they sound just fine. My phone doesn't have sound balance setting or the option to change from mono to stereo or vice versa. Someone please help me.

Swap the phones. If the weaker one is still the same ear, have your hearing checked. (Hearing loss is usually gradual - we don't notice it until something like this.) (Just to make sure - from what it sounds like, trying it on other phones, that's not it.)

If the weaker side goes with the earphone, you need an audio app with a balance control. Try ViPER4Android Fx 2018. The Master Gate should have a balance control.
