Which CM version quickest

I want to root my Mom's Nook Color(SD Root) and would like to know which CM version would be the best for a quick snappy user experience. If imagine CM9 and 10 would run a little more laggy or need overclocking(which I don't want to do to hers) what do ya think?? Thanks.

Try CM10(JellyBean). CM9 (ICS) doesn't run very well. I'm on Paranoid Android's ROM (based on CM10) and it runs very well on the NC. If you overclock to 1100, her NC should be fine. Anything above that would probably cause issues

I would recommend just rooting the NC and not run the ROMs off an sd card. SD cards tend to fail over time

Well I sort of like the ability to go back to stock at will...especially since 7.1 is so slow and buggy.

I've run CM9/ICS off of SD and it was too slow, even overclocked. CM7.1 or 7.2 off of SD card seemed fine. I eventually settled on MIUI 2.4.6 (which is CM7 based) off of SD card and it runs great, and has tablet sized apps too boot!

Try the CM10.2 nightlies, big improvement over CM10, 9 OR 7. Make sure you use a SanDisk class 4 card. Makes a huge difference.
