Sadly yes. The charge was not a popular
Phone and did not have a very big dev community. U might want to check over at rootzwiki

The charge developers have pretty much abandoned this device due to it not receiving ice cream sandwich best rom for it is eclipse 2.0 from eclipse roms not sure if it will work with the fp5 kernal but there are one or two developers that maybe cooking something up my wife has the charge it is a pretty nice phone

No love for tweaked?

Tweaked was the most stable ROM I ran on my Charge, seemed like what Samsung should have done with the phone. Too bad that neither Samsung or Verizon felt like supporting the Charge.
