The most frustrating thing after the ICS update is being able to quickly pull up contacts when composing a new SMS message.
In Gingerbread I could type either the first name, last name, or nickname, and it would quickly locate the contact.
I'm not having such luck in the new ICS update.
For instance, if I have a contact named "John Doe - JD", I could find that contact by typing either John, Doe, or JD. This works perfectly in the People app of ICS, but not so much so in the SMS app. I've tried downloading 3rd party SMS apps, and they are having the same issue.
I had quite a few contacts where I added their initials to their name, so I could quickly pull up their name when composing a new message. When I type in their initials now, it can't locate them. I now have to type out their entire name in ICS. What a pain!!
