Most of these mods require you to be rooted, have the appropriate version of Clockwork installed and have a deodexed ROM.

I just tried flashing the Black Alien Void w/Preview....the xda page says it is compatible with EB13. I have never seen that many FC's upon launch. I was getting FC's from google.framework, swype, launcher, and so on. My advice is just hold off on the one for now.

So far I've only tried my own TER Mini Theme v1.8, no problems running that for over a day now. I would say then any of the previous TER Mini Themes work too since they are all the same base.

Sticky sticky >.< this is a post which complements the sticky about official roms wonderfully. Should be stuck so its easier for people to find, would save lots of questions on download locations in other forums.

Ignore that link, if you want ClockWork Mod then root your phone.

On the subject of Rom Manager, don't use it. Rom Manager isn't supporting most of what we are doing currently on our Epic phones.

thanks for quick reply- I usually don't use rom manager but was concerned that after using the "[Odin-EC05] Froyo EC05 Prerooted/CWM v2.5.1.0 RFS (Odexed)" Rom I can not longer get into the stock recovery- using adb reboot recovery just hangs on the samsung screen. Thus I thought that I would install the redirector to get easy access to the CWM recovery

Correct after using that Odin package or any rooting method you will loose access to stock recovery. It is replaced by ClockWorkMod recovery which then is used to flash ROMs/kernels/themes/add ons. Plus you can make and restore full system backups too..

Okay- I was used to the old days where CWM was on bml8 (reached by three button push) and the stock recovery was on bml7 (reached by adb reboot recovery). I can't help but wonder with the current rom that I am using what is on blm7 as I cannot boot using it- I guess that the "pre-rooted" kernel in this Rom does not include a recovery? I should let it go but thanks again
