The month of October was VERY busy for me at work. I had very little time to do anything. The nightlies broke around 10/2 due to some code being submitted to the galaxys2-common repo. chris41g has been working on everything in my absence. We just turned back on nightlies and have a pretty stable product now. Please carry on with your regularly scheduled flashing! :p

Re: [ROM] CM10 alpha5.3: Android 4.1.1 for Samsung Epic 4G Touch

Thanks

So I updated to cm10 nightly 11/02 and now I cannot reinstall paranoid android 2.16 (last one I used since I read that the newest one has boot loop)
Wiped cache and dalvik
installed phantom's update
installed paranoid
Installed gapps for jb
and paranoid logo ran for 10 minutes and did nothing
So I reinstalled cm10 and gapps and now Google movies keeps crashing

What recovery did you use to flash? And have you tried to go to stock first, then restore/install next test? Remember, these are test builds.. its always best to restore to stock before testing, IMO

That version of PA might be a lower version compared to this build, so it might be necessary to restore to stock below PA v2.16

Re: [ROM] CM10 alpha5.3: Android 4.1.1 for Samsung Epic 4G Touch

Awesome rom, I love it. I just over from a LG Optimus S, my wife and I got s ii's for free. The thing I noticed that was mentioned once before with no answer is there appears to itmes the play store thinks aren't compatible that should be. My wife has rooted stock and I am running cm10. In the play store she has a lot more live wallpapers than I do. If I go to zedge and try to install a live wallpaper the play store says "your device isn't compatible with this cersion" Is this a known issue, or is this a slight oversight? Would a simple buildprop edit fix this?

From the looks of it, the latest build is very stable, great battery life, gyro/compass fixed, camera records all quality and video records at all quality's as well.. volume headset bug is on its way to being squashed, but still lingers slightly.. :/ but I'm very excited with the latest updates c41g, pPhreak and their team has posted.. :)

Have you noticed a difference in the volume? That's been the deal breaker for me thus far in flashing this rom.

Hey, I don't post here often; but there's one major issue for me. I'm on the Nov. 15th nightly and everything seems to run fine, but sometimes my screen flickers and everything shuts down. I always have to do a battery pull and then put the phone back on the charger, and it's really annoying. Is this an issue with the ROM itself, or did I do something wrong? I followed all the instructions, so I believe I flashed properly.

I would nandroid and then restore to stock el26 then put your nandroid backup back on.. then if you're still seeing the issue, pull a logcat and post it here, the devs use that info to help track down replicate-able issues..
