custom rom advice and external memory issue

Hello! I want to install custom rom on the vonino onyx qs and on lenovo yoga 10( b8000). The second one is just lagging with its custom rom, about the first one.. I just need to make the sd card the place where the apps can be installed, brcause now the tablet has "phone storage" and "external storage" within the internal memory. If you have any ideas how to fix the sd card issue the custom rom for vonino may not be needed. Thanks in advance!

I would guess it's the way they partitioned the memory. I never understood why after ICS they separated app and regular data storage.

As for apps to the SD card, do you mean an external?

Yes, i mean an external sd card.. The thing is that not only im not able to move the apps to the ext sd, but if i was able to it'd be the same as the "phone" memory is just 900 mb and is almost full..and i still have my 2gb of internal "sd"..

I am not sure a custom ROM will help. My S2 is on CM and the internal is still partitioned.
