Can I get some help with putting my phone on Verizon?

Basic Verizon question

Folks

I have a S4 currently and just bought a Nexus 6 on google play store. To use the nexus 6, can I just use a nano sim cutter to cut my S4 sim and place it in the nexus 6 and that's it? Or am I also required to call Verizon to give them the new IMEI of the nexus 6?

Cut the sim and place it into the n6.no need to contact Verizon
