I live in richmond va and today my signal went out on my thunderbolt and when it came back on it said 4glte and I know 4g isnt supposed to be available here can anyone explain? Also I did a speed test and it was 25mbps so it was 4g for sure

You'll have 4G before its officially announced. Just means that they are testing the service and will get ready to officially role it out in due time.

Yeah, they do that all the time here in East Europe.

2 or 3 times a week, my speed is increased to the upcoming SabreLight standards, clocked in at 12gbps, but when I call to say what's up, they abruptly termininate the connection.

So sad....

Never look a gift horse in the mouth..
