How to export all your Palm Pre Contacts to a VCF

Hi all,

I figured I'd post this for those who are about to make the jump from the Palm Pre to the EVO.

Using this as a reference:

You will need to install WebOS QuickInstall. Instructions here: Linky

Click on Tools --> Tweaks --> Online Repository Tab

Then scroll to "Send All Contacts Via Email" patch click on it and then click install patch.
Finally, click on Restart Luna and you're done!

Go to the Contacts application and click on the Contacts menu at the top of the screen and you'll see the new option.

From there I'm sure all of you can figure it out!

if you get your phone at a sprint store they will do it for you. i broke my pre and they opened up a new one, downloaded my profile then transferred the contacts to my treo 700p at no charge. then wiped it and gave me my battery back and packaged it back up. if your pre works, it won't even be that much trouble. if you go to the shack or bb, and they can't do it, just go to one of the kiosks at the mall and they will do it. or go the quickinstall route. don't get mad if you run windows 7 and quickinstall comes up "no device connected"...
