Saved Contacts under wrong Phonebook

Any help would be appreciated. A couple months ago, I finally added my work email/contacts to my Android. I didn't realize at the time, but since then, every new contact I've created was saved under my work phonebook, and not Google. I try to go into the contact to Edit which phonebook its saved under (so I can sync it to Google), but thats not an editable option. Any suggestions other than creating a new contact?
