Galaxy tab 2 10.1, how to get rid of main buttons for kids to play games

I have a tab 2 10.1 with the latest software from Rogers in Canada.

My problem is, my daughter is 16 months and loves to play games on it but "ALWAYS" hits the back button or home button or the advertisments etc etc..
Then it kicks her out of the games, it is very fruastrating as I am a Android fan, but I see IPADs that when in kid mode, the kid "CANNOT" get out of the games.

Is there a APP, or mode I am missing, I have tried 2 different APPs and both SUCK and allow her to still get to Home screen or hit advertisments or freeze the games.

I purchased these mainly for my kids and wife and am starting to hate them for very poor usability features that IPADs do not have problems with? And I have used IPAD's and really really hate APPLE's software. So before I melt these into a puddle of gooo

Buy child a old iPad or mindmeld and ask for advance hand and eye coordination for him/her. If child breaks old one oops.

I like Kids Place. It locks out the home and back button, prevents them from purchasing apps, and requires a PIN to exit or modify. And it's free!
