Whats wrong with my google maps app!?!?

Hi guys I have recently encountered a problem with my Google maps application cause sometimes a random message appears saying " unfortunately maps has quit" or something like that.

So does anyone know how I can make this stop without disabling maps?
My phone isn't rooted and it's the HTC one x btw.

Try this from the home screen: Menu > System Settings > App > All > Maps (Google Maps)

Select force stop and clear cache and see if that fixes it. If it continues, go back through the directions above and uninstall updates. Reboot the phone and give it a try. Let us know if you have any success.
