- If you don't get a reply to this from someone more knowledgeable, I'd recommend getting a free 3rd party app like Maildroid. It handles my 5 email accounts from various services and sets up real easy to work with them.11-13-2011 09:37 PMLike 0

- Good point. It was under Settings at the tops but should be under Messaging as well. I added this:
Notification Lights, Sounds and Vibration
• Text Messaging: Tap Messages> Menu > Settings > Notification sound.
• Quick Settings let's you adjust sounds all at once including Notifications: Tap Volume control or for Ringer for Phone ringer.
• Executive Assistant or Light Flow lets you set repeating LED, vibrations, and sound notifications.
Thanks!12-24-2011 03:41 PMLike 0 - got a new tablet for birthday. Not happy... yesterday it froze up. Nothing works, can't get icons to work, can't shut it down, have reset it and still nothing. as soon as it comes up it freezes. I had put the gps attachment on the other day and the same thing happened. just reset and it cleared. Put in a usb stick and it froze . took it out and it is still frozen. Saw comments about hold down on button, volume button and camera button but can't get to the camera button because the start up screen is frozen and can't get tot he apps. any help out there. At the moment I am letting it die and hopefully when the battery is depleted and is re-charged it will help. Need some thoughts here or should I just send it back.

- Hi,
My Blackberry died on me last week. This was the 5th one and I was so frustrated with it locking up that I decided to try the Android. I understand there's a bit of a learning curve, so I'm slowly getting on board. Because of time constraits, I haven't done any of the tutorials as yet. I plan to do so over the next few days. Any pointers would be appreciated.

See the BlackBerry User's Guide to Android for help with transferring everything over and apps and settings to make it as homey as possible01-05-2012 11:18 PMLike 0 - Hello All! I have been the owner of a Droid3 after finally tiring of Blackberry disasters, and I am so pleased! Didn't bother with waiting for Verizon's 4G any longer to be in my area....most likely won't see it here until 2013. Happy with my Droid, need to learn this device, and what it does, through and through. I look forward to maximizing my Droid Experience! - mikey3cc (from Jersey Shore)01-12-2012 11:59 AMLike 0
- Hello everyone, Wow, lots of info here!! Thanks!
I'm looking for some guidance. My wife's T-Bolt is very nice and she loves it!
She has some SMS's she needs to save, along with the entire threads. A friend showed me how he could 'delete history' on his android, and it would wipe out all call logs, messages, and emails from his phone, and send everything to his Gmail account. He couldn't remember what App it was, and I am very reluctant to 'delete' anything without knowing for sure. Can someone shed some light on this, or tell be a better way to backup SMS's and emails from her T-Bolt? Thanks!01-13-2012 07:33 AMLike 0 - Hi there my son has just bought an android scroll essential but when he tries to down load apps from android market it says there is no phone attached to this device can anybody help please he is getting very frustrated01-16-2012 04:16 AMLike 0

I would suggest reading a basket of reviews and narrow down your prospects to 2 or 3. Then find a place where you can play with all of them and select the one that fits (size, features, cost, accessories, etc.).
There are so many manufacturers and models that choosing can take quite a bit of time and effort.02-03-2012 10:57 PMLike 0 - gosh i have a question but dont want to ask.. ok i know nothing about android but willing to learn and maybe get one next month. so is it possible to get apps and store them on pc until i get the device i want? like when an appcomes to mind get it now so it isnt forgotten..( godh this will be a hard convert from blackberry)02-03-2012 11:09 PMLike 0
