Samsung Galaxy mini 2 S6500D Wifi error

I got Samsung Galaxy mini 2 S6500D everything works fine except for WiFi. I did hard reset and when i try to turn WiFi on it says error and it wont turn on and when i try again phone shuts down. I don't know what is the problem, can someone explain it to me or give me solution to it? Thanks

Since it shuts the phone down I'd suspect a hardware problem. See if they'll exchange it. (Check that wifi works before you accept the new one if you're doing the exchange in a store.)
