using navigation on a custom map

I want to create my own route and let Google maps navigate it for me with voice.

Initially, I tried using the walking method instead of the cycling method, and thought that this will still do voice navigation. But it won't. I like the route presented by the walking method better.

So if I create a route on the PC's Google maps and then somehow send it to my phone, then I can tell the phone to navigate according to that imported map using voice.

Is that possible with Google maps or with a third party navigation app?
