SMS over Bluetooth ???

I currently have a Windows Phone 7.8 (Lumia 900) and was considering a jump to andriod when my contract is up.

However there is one feature of the Lumia that I love and cannot find out if its available on an Andriod.

When I receive a text the phone will connect to my car stereo over bluetooth and give me the choice to Read or Ignore the message via voice command.

If I read the message I then can reply via voice, this is very helpful on my long commute to work.
I can just leave my phone in my pocket and send/receive texts.

Is this possible on an Andriod or only the Lumia Windows Phone ?

It's possible with some Android phones with some car systems. It's not possible with all Windows phones with all car systems.

IOW, the situation is the same whether the phone is Android or Windows.

Which phone(s) are you considering?
Moto X with its Touchless control & Assist has that ability.
