Hey guys,

I have posted this question in the Ask a Question section,
but I was unable to reply there so I will repost it here.

I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Core 2.
To keep it short, my GPS is not accurate. Also my connections (WiFi, mobile data) aren't stable.
Sometimes they just 'stop working' for a while. I presume they are related.
GPS is not accurate in both Ingress and Google Maps. On my old phone, the Core 1, it all worked flawlessly.
Internet stops working at random times, mostly noticable while streaming or downloading.

Here is some info on my phone;

Model:
SM-G355HN

OS:
Android 4.4.2

Baseband:
G355HNXXU0ANH3

Kernel:
3.10.17-2573481 dpi SWDD3002 #2

Build:
KOT49H.G355HNXXU0ANH3

The phone is not rooted. I have never dropped the phone. It's only a few weeks old.
The only apps I have installed (not counting system apps) are; WhatsApp, Kik and Ingress.
Is there anything I can do to solve this issue? I save Factory Reset as my last resort.
Also, I cannot return this device, because it's been unboxed and used.

Thanks in advance.

Try going into system settings > location. Make sure that location is turned on and the mode is set to "high accuracy". Reboot the device (not required, but may be helpful) and see if gps is improved. If not, then consider a factory reset - backup data beforehand - and see if it works.

Let us know how it goes.

Location is already set to high accuracy (Location based on GPS, WiFi and mobile data).
I also tried other settings but no difference.
I will do factory reset if nothing else works, so I prefer to wait a while in case there is a solution out there.
