Google wallet pin... ..simple question

Hey guys quick question.. I have the wallet debit card but I've never used it to pay for anything in stores.. Once I swipe the card and select debit and promoted to enter a pin would it be the same pin that I use to unlock the wallet app on my phone?

If you haven't set another pin specific to the card, then I would imagine yes. Is there anything on the wallet card support page regarding this?
