In call log - it displays all messages and calls. I would like to reset this to only see calls, how can I do this?

if one clicks into call logs is displays immediately all logs. I would like to reset this to immediately open only calls.

There should be a setting in your dialer to do that. Have you checked in the overflow menu options? Which phone and dialer app are you using?
