any one ever recovery deleted pics?

phone caught a virus, didn't take it to att took it to the "Local" guy. He had me back up my contacts with sim card and pics on an app called One Gallery. Long story short lost 9 years of photos. Can anyone help?

Clearly, the 'local' guy didn't known what he was doing.

Backup contacts to the SIM care? That's flip-phone era technology. Only saves names and numbers, no other info.

As for your photos, you didn't say if they were saved to internal storage but I assume they were. See this:
