why samsung GT-I8552 SD card unexpectedly removed

the SD card in my MB phone indicates 'either it is blank or it has unsupported ...' this morning when I switched it on, please advise.

Welcome to Android Central! The card may have failed or become corrupt. Remove it and insert it into your computer--does the computer recognize it? If so, run chkdsk to look for bad sectors: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...guide-using-chkdsk-fix-corrupted-sd-card.html

I had the same issue. I tried everything. I did fix my sd card issue with a simple solution. I tore a small piece of napkin about an inch square. I folded it 3 times. Took my battery cover off and placed napkin over sd card. Replaced the cover and my sd card issue was fixed. Seems like the back cover fails to maintain the correct pressure on the sd card to keep a solid connection. Or it could be inside the sd card mounting slot where heat may losen proper connection.
This simple trick worked for me and now my 128 gb class 10 sd card works like new with no issues.

I still had the same issue. Only after i removed the folded piece of napkin. Sd card was "unexpectedly removed." I replaced the piece of napkin and sd card works perfectly again. Its not an issue with the sd card. In my case, it seems to be an issue within the sd card mounting slot.
