My screen turned one third white but still is touch active, how can I fix this?

my screen turned one third white but still is touch active

I have an Astro Queo A712 tablet and am very satisfied with it but the other night I left the tablet charge through the night like I regularly do, but when turning the unit on, I lost about one third of the screen. It still lights up and is touch sensitive but its completely white.
No idea why this happened and how I can fix it or if i have to change the screen?
Does anybody have any thoughts on how i can fix this.
The screen is not cracked or anything

Welcome to Android Central! Does this persist after a reboot or a factory reset? If so, then it's most likely a hardware issue with the screen. Off-brand devices are more likely to have hardware or firmware defects, unfortunately.
