Network disconnected because internet connection is slow and failed to obtain IP address, what do I do?

network disconnected because internet connection is slow and failed to obtain IP address

my samsung galaxy trend plus is having the above issue on my home wifi.All my other devices (computer, ipod touch) have no problems. My samsung phone can connect to my friend's wifi but not home wifi. I've tried everything and nothing works. Please help

Have you tried restarting your router? You can also try adjusting the security settings on the router.
