My Infinix Hot 2 phone has been updating for over 2 hours, is this normal?

my infinix hot 2 phone has been updating for over 2 hours

My infinix phone has been updating over 12 hours now without it coming up. it brought a prompt to update to 6.0, please what can I do to abort it. I have removed the battery several times but it is still the same. I cant access anything on my phone.

You can try booting in to recovery and doing a factory reset. Unfortunately if you do this it will reset your phone and you will lose all your data on the phone.

Method 2- via recovery mode

>> First turn off your infinix device

>> Then press and hold together Volume Up + Home button + Power

>> Then Use the Volume buttons to select “wipe data/factory reset” from the Infinix recovery screen

>> After that, confirm the process and wait for few minutes as it would take several minutes for the Infinix device to be wiped.
