Hello all. When I take video with my phone there is always a huge amount of background noise, hiss and crashes that can't be explained.
I have one test video here. All fans, AC, etc. were turned off.

At best it only happens occasionally, such as when it's quiet except when someone is talking -- what happens then is that there is hiss and extra white noise when there's talking, then complete silence. In fact, it sounds like the mic turns off and only comes on when it detects sound, because a split second of sound is missing. Here's an example video of that:

What is this and how can I mitigate it?
I know very little about taking video with my phone and this problem has kept me from even trying, but I'm tired of not being able to take decent video.
Thanks for any help you can give.
