Will Google Glass disrupt the industry?

Do you think Google Glass will change everything? Or is it a fad, or will it be an absolute failure?

Its a proof of concept device, and a nice publicity generator, but that's it. Google will use it to test out applications and processes, then use those lessons to embed successfully embed tech in things like appliances, consumer goods and industrial machinery.

Great concept but at $1600 a pair, they won't change a thing until that price gets to $100 a pair.
