I have one made by Anker also available on Amazon that works great. I keep it in my backpack.

I also have an Anker, one of the 16,000 mAh ones, gen 2 Astro E5. Mine also stays in my backpack unless I'm using it. It's ~1" longer, 2x as thick and about the same width as my first-gen Moto X.

Get this instead: http://www.amazon.com/Aukey-12000mA...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4593951

It's $5 more and a much bigger capacity. As for hiding it...is there any way you can keep it in a pocket or something? I have the 12,000 myself, and it's roughly 7-8" long. A deep coat/shirt pocket should hold it quite well.

I can actually put in my locker... I don't know if I need that big of mah. This is something I would use Mondays an Tuesday only.. I have nexus 6 and I always drain my battery down to 20-10% so the basic brand would give me at least two charges... I thank u for your input 😁

My experience with external batteries is this: you get about 80% of the capacity stated. I don't know why, but here is this: I have the Moto 5100 mAh pack. Paired with my M8 (2600 mAh) I could get about a charge and about a quarter out of it. That, and it's better to have too much than not enough. Especially, when the difference is so little in price. But, to each their own. Let us know what you go with.

They make these cases, where you fill 'em with your own 18650 cells, so you know the quality and can switch 'em out. Cheaper too, if you already have the batteries from flashlights, vaporizers, or laptops. $12.99 for this one that holds three: https://www.fasttech.com/product/1340502

I don't recommend that supplier, they always send me defective items, or copies of fakes. There's also a 6-cell version.

I have three little "batteries" from a "tuff" Chinese Xiaocai phone, that are a 5,000mAh bank each. They have all the built-in electronics and multi-color LED indicator lamp. I also have the phone which is dual SIM for redundancy.
