If im understanding correctly I believe you can just get a higher speed rated card and put it in the N1. That should solve the speed problem.

Yes, it will. Mines is using a 16GB, Class 6 Micro SD Card

Just an fyi that I have seen a number of posts recommending that, in general, most people should consider getting Class 4 rather than Class 6 in terms of getting your bang for the buck. You might do some similar Google searches to see what speed vs. cost works best for you.
