Time Lapse Video Plays only for about 1-2 seconds

i made a time lapse video for 1 min, change settings from 1 sec interval upto 3.

after recording, i played them all, they all lasted for about 1-2 seconds, is that how time lapse supposed to work? it's like the frames just skipped.

i've seen other timelapse videos on youtube, they were great.

I think the problem is 1 minute is not nearly enough time. Remember, video is measured in frames per second. If the video is say 30 frames per second and you only took 20 frames your playback will be over in under a second.
