Took mine to the pool today.. after about 2 hours it shut down and went black. I assume it overheated. I am in Ohio and it was 85 and sunny today and i was in direct sunlight the whole time. I put it back in my bag and went home an hour later and it was back up and running. Anyone else have this problem??

I don't think your device needs a suntan. Detach yourself and leave it in some shade. In the house.

I noticed mine got really hot today after an hour in the sun but it never shut off. I just put it in the shade and it was fine. Pity because I wanted to keep reading.

Some very childish replies. You should feel good about yourselves.

To the OP: That's perfectly normal. 85 is pretty hot and if you were in direct sunlight, especially with a black backed device, it'll soak up heat. The device will obviously shut off to protect itself. Be careful with it on a hot day in direct sunlight.
