Nexus 7 drops Wifi and will not Autorotate

Intermittent problem for the last two years, but since the lasts update to 6.0.1 the Autorotate function will not work at all. Drops Wifi with thirty seconds consistently. I have tried the "Try This" recommendations on various forums, nothing improves the problem. As far as I am concerned this unit is now just an expensive Solitare game.

What do I do to fix this? I can see a Samsung tablet or mini-Ipad coming soon, if this doesn't get fixed very soon.

I would try to do a factory data reset

There's no official Marshmallow build for the 2012 model that this subforum covers. Are you referring to the 2013 model?

Especially since autorotate is one of the known issues in the n7 (2012) MM Roma...
