Will a turbo charger damage the N7?

Can I safely use a turbo charger (the turbo charger for the Moto X 2014) to charge my Nexus 7? I realize I of course won't get a faster charge, but am wondering if the charger is "safe" to use for a normal charging speed for this device. Thanks!

I have used my 2.0 amp charger from my asus tablet, many times, where my standard charger was 1.0 amps, with no problems. And it did charge faster. Ymmv

The device draws the amount of power it needs, the charger doesn't push the power, so it should be perfectly safe.
